Overview
Dove and Kay Exploration Ltd. was formed
in 1989 to provide geophysical consulting services to oil and gas
exploration and development companies on a contract or project
basis. Over the past eight years, we have worked for numerous
companies ranging in size from one person to the major integrated
producers. Our work has been predominantly in western Canada
with occasional projects in the Canadian frontier areas, the United
States and other international locations.
Our scope of
services has expanded to meet our client needs and our goal of
providing a complete geophysical service. We offer data
acquisition management and co-ordination from 2D and 3D program
design, approvals, permitting, contracting, and field supervision to
final plans. Post acquisition services includes contracting
and supervision of data processing, modeling, interpretation (on
paper and/or work station), interpreted seismic section plots, time
to depth conversion, mapping and presentation. In the course
of our work we quality inspect trade data and co-ordinate other
services as required. We can supply geological consulting
services if necessary on a project by project basis. These
capabilities are available individually for a specific need or in
combination as full project management. Dove and Kay Exploration Ltd
has a staff consisting of Professional Geophysicists and support
staff we can adapt to changes in workload, deadlines and project
tasking internally. To ensure that our exploration
professionals can work efficiently, our support staff is able to
handle tasks such as building synthetic seismograms, computer maps,
data loading, section timing and drafting of presentation
materials. This is more cost efficient for our clients as they
pay professional rates for professional services and technician
rates for support services.
